White Dove Ceremonies
'Serving Melbourne and the Mornington Peninsula'

WELCOME to our world and the wonderful experience of
the “Bird of Birds” – the WHITE DOVE.
All cultures seem to recognise that the white dove symbolises peace, spirituality, good luck and love.
Adding a white dove release to your event will ensure that your occasion, (be it wedding, anniversary, memorial, christening, religious ceremony, etc.) is elegant, memorable and spectacular.
The most popular release packages are a pair of white doves or a small flock of ten white doves. However,
we are able to cater for larger/different numbers if required. Please feel free to contact us for a quote.
HOW THE DOVE RELEASE WORKS:
1. You complete a booking form to reserve the white doves for your occasion.
2. We will confirm all details of the release well prior to your event to ensure that we will be able to meet your specific requirements.
3. We arrive at your function on your nominated date and time, with the number of doves that you require to be released.
4. The bride and groom or other nominated persons will release the doves at the requested time from the chosen method, which we supply. The doves will fly up and circle the area several times before heading off to their home, allowing your guests time to view the release.
We like our clients to know that:
We are a family-run business which has been operating for five years.
The doves are never harmed during a release. The birds are trained to fly home to their loft and are capable of flying several hundred kilometres, if necessary. However, they are not capable of flying at night (therefore dusk releases are not possible). The doves are thoroughbred species of the genus ‘columba livia’, and are the true descendants of the rock dove.
We take great pride in assisting our clients to understand our service and have a constant line of communication available to discuss your needs.
Our releases are always carried out by one of our attendants wearing appropriate dress suitable for the occasion.
